This is the 16th ICPLM conference organized internationally to bring together laboratory professionals and experts in pediatric laboratory medicine from around the world. ICPLM has become a leading forum in the field to discuss latest advances in key areas of special interest to pediatric laboratory specialists, scientists, pediatricians, and industry colleagues. A strong scientific program has been organized with expert international speakers discussing important topics including pediatric cases of COVID-19, advances in newborn screening and metabolic disease diagnosis\/ monitoring, biomarkers in renal and cardiac disease, and application of algorithms in pediatric diagnostics. The ICPLM scientific program is being organized as a hybrid event including both in person presentations\/participation as well as virtual broadcast of all scientific presentations via the IFCC InEvent Virtual Platform.
